Curriculum Map Reception Early Years Planning
The curriculum map follows a road map and outlines your long-term plan for the year for Reception children, including seasonal themes, celebrations, and learning intentions across the three prime areas of learning and selected aspects of the specific areas from the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Our focus includes:
Building secure relationships and confidence in a nurturing environment
Developing language and communication through songs, stories, and conversation
Encouraging physical development through movement, outdoor play, and fine motor activities
Supporting early personal, social and emotional development such as turn taking, expressing needs, and developing independence
